Route

Walked from Posterholt to the Nederland/Deutschland [Netherlands/Germany] border. There is very little to indicate that you are moving from one country to another – there is no checkpoint, no barrier, no guards – just a few road signs. Perhaps one day every border will be this peaceful.

I walked on into Deutschland through the small town of Karken and on to Heinsberg, visiting a church and chapel along the way.
