Route
Aggie kindly rejoined the pilgrimage and we walked into the town centre, where we saw the World Peace Gong, a symbol of interfaith and international peace and co-operation.
We visited the nearby Evangelical, Reformed and Roman Catholic Churches before making the long walk to the “Assumption Basilica” on the edge of town. This has been a place of pilgrimage for many years and is dedicated to Saint Mary’s Ascent into Heaven.
Thank you to Aggie for rejoining the pilgrimage for the day.
