Route

I set off early alongside Aggie, who walked with me on the pilgrimage before heading into the city centre. It was -1°C (30°F) as I walked northwards, stopping to join a service in a Church dedicated to Saint George. I got to talking to the priest afterwards who was supportive of the pilgrimage.

I carried on along snow-lined streets, across bridges over railways and through parkland to my accommodation in the Sashalom suburb of Budapest.
