Route

We walked around central Rotterdam and took a boat tour around the port. We also went up the Euromast to the 100m-high viewing platform, surveying the city around us and looking back towards the North Sea and where we had walked in the previous two days. Rotterdam is Europe’s biggest port and container ships are often seen going back and forth along the Nieuwe Maas [“New Meuse”] river that flows through the city.
