Route

Mostly following the Eurovelo cycle way I walked southwards, close to the Danube River, to the Csillaghegy suburb of the capital city, Budapest.

I passed the picturesque Omszki-tó [“Omsz Lake”] that has a dedicated soft jogging track around it and impressive solar-powered lampposts. Further on I passed a building with the words “Erős Vár A Mi Istenunk” [“Strong Awaiting Our God”] and a Reformed Church.
