Route

Walked through farmland and forest to the outskirts of the town of Markt Erlbach and through the village of Eschenbach, stopping to cool down with much appreciated water from the village fountain.

Continued on under blue skies to the small town of Wilhermsdorf. Here I visited a church that is named Spital [“Hospital”], perhaps because it once served as a hospital or was attached to one that no longer exists.
