Route

Walked to the neighbouring town of Faulbach, from where I walked alongside the River Main eastwards. In Faulbach I visited the two churches dedicated to St. Mary, that are situated across the street from each other.

I walked on besides the Main, past the small town of Hasloch to Kreuzwertheim, which means “Cross Wertheim”, so-called due to the stone cross in the marketplace and to distinguish it from the bigger town of Wertheim that lies across the river. Here, the river also forms the boundary between the states of Bayern (Bavaria) and Baden-Württemberg.
