Route

I walked among the trees and sand dunes of this very special nature reserve, which in English is called the National Park of Loonse and Druinese Dunes. I got talking to Max who was also out walking, and he joined me on the pilgrimage for a short distance.

The national park is an unusual mixture of forest and sand and it’s a beautiful place for walking or relaxing. I did a lot of barefoot walking in the sunshine before moving on to the villages of Cromvoirt and Loveren to the outskirts of Vught.
