Route
I walked through the forested mountains, heading downhill, seeing some birds of prey in the air and stopping to explore Dömör-Kapui-Barlang [“Dömör-Gate Cave”] along the way. After about four hours I emerged from the woods on the outskirts of the large town of Szentendre, named after Saint Andrew. Here I was to stay for three nights in the north-western suburb of Pismány.
Unfortunately, I did not visit any Holy places this day, although I walked past what seemed to be a church under construction and also saw a chapel on the other side of a long fence.
Many thanks to András for hosting me and providing vegetarian food.
